Cine24 Stock Footage License Agreement



1. Agreement Overview

By downloading, accessing, or using any stock footage ("Footage") from Cine24 Studio ("Cine24"), the licensee ("User") agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this License Agreement. This Agreement governs the usage rights for the downloaded Footage, in accordance with the specific license type purchased or obtained by the User.

2. Grant of License

Cine24 grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Footage solely for the project and purpose described in the license type purchased. The license types offered include, but are not limited to, Creative-Use, Single-Use, and Royalty-Free licenses. The User may only use the Footage as explicitly allowed under the purchased license type.

3. Permitted Uses

The User is allowed to use the Footage strictly in accordance with the terms defined by the specific license purchased, including:

  • Commercial, non-commercial, editorial, or personal projects.
  • Social media, advertisements, films, documentaries, web series, and other forms of media as described by the license.
  • Modifications to the Footage, provided such modifications do not breach the license terms or remove attribution where required.

4. Restrictions

The User is prohibited from:

  • Redistributing, reselling, sublicensing, or transferring the Footage in its original form.
  • Using the Footage for any purposes outside the scope of the license type purchased (e.g., using a non-commercial license for commercial projects).
  • Using the Footage in a way that breaches intellectual property laws, defames others, or violates applicable laws.
  • Exceeding the budget cap for Independent Production licenses ($15,000).

5. Termination of License

If the User breaches any terms of this Agreement, the license is automatically terminated without notice, and Cine24 reserves the right to pursue legal action. The User must cease all usage of the Footage and destroy any copies in their possession. If the User’s project budget exceeds any specified license limits (such as the $15,000 limit for Independent Production licenses), the User must obtain a new license immediately, or the current license is rendered void.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights to the Footage remain with Cine24 or its contributors. The User receives a license to use the Footage according to the purchased terms but does not acquire any ownership rights.

7. Limitation of Liability

Cine24 will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Footage. Cine24’s liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Footage license.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state or jurisdiction in which Cine24 operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

9. Entire Agreement

This License Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Cine24 and the User regarding the use of the Footage and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
